Learning outcomes

The student must know the chemical-physical principles at the base of the main analytical techniques used in the Biomedical Laboratory, with particular regard to the relative instrumentation and fundamental technical characteristics.

Syllabus

Fundamentals of the main Analytical Techniques used in the Biomedical Laboratory: centrifugation, photometry and spectrophotometry, turbidimetry, nephelometry, fluorimetry, chromatographic techniques, electrophoretic techniques, immunochemical techniques, electrochemical techniques, techniques for molecular diagnosis


Withdrawal: types and characteristics of biological samples, containers, test tubes, anticoagulants and preservatives
