Learning outcomes

To acquire the basic tools both for observing the behavior of the child as a whole, and for the evaluation of motor behavior in order to be able to identify physiotherapy issues in order of priority, to draw up objectives, plan and implement the therapeutic program, verify and evaluate the results.
Knowing the principles and habilitation / current rehabilitation approaches; knowing how to identify and apply the appropriate ones in terms of the objectives that emerged from observation, from the valuation, by the child's needs in relation to himself, to his family, to the context and integrated into the rehabilitation project.

Syllabus

Principles of pediatric rehabilitation.
Approach to the infant and the child: motor, cognitive skills, interpersonal and communication acquired particularly in the first years of life and specifically significant in the field of habilitation / rehabilitation.
Observation and evaluation as tools for differentiation between the variables of normality and pathology in the course of development of psychomotor skills.
Assessment tools: functional systems, global motor skills, autonomy; ICF-CY.
Evolution of the approaches and methodologies of qualifying, rehabilitation and psychomotor.
Current approaches in the rehabilitation of disorders of motor development and in orthopedic problems in children.
Orthoses and rehabilitation aids such as tools and start to autonomy.

DIDACTIC METHODS
Lectures (with slides), presentation of clinical cases, work in small groups and plenary discussion in order to try to reduce in the concrete case what was learned in a purely theoretical way.

Assessment methods and criteria

------------------------ MM: Metodologia della riabilitazione in età evolutiva ------------------------ Written exam with both general and detailed questions, in relation to the topics covered in class.    Oral exam in itinere.    The objective is to evaluate the results of the expected learning.    The evaluation will be expressed in thirtieths. ------------------------ MM: Principi e tecniche abilitative-riabilitative e psicomotorie dello sviluppo 0-6 anni ------------------------ Written exam with both general and detailed questions, in relation to the topics covered in class.
