Learning outcomes

To apply the EBP and research skills to a clinical situation: searching for relevant evidence on the most important databases; reading, interpreting and critically appraising primary and secondary sources; applying the results of literature evidence into clinical practice, considering the point of view of patients, caregivers and experts; proposing innovative and patient-centred nursing models of care.

The program will be built with students choosing complex and highly uncertain caring issues (e.g. nursing surveillance, bladder catheterization, management of vascular accesses, early mobilization of patients, risk of falls, nutrition and fasting management, comfort, dignity and privacy).
