The module aims the student to achieve basic knowledge of Clinical Pharmacology, which is necessary for nursing and for the control and management of drug therapies, with particular reference to the identification and prevention of major adverse drug reactions occurring with each category of drugs studied. The previous categories include: calcium channel blockers, beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, sartans, statins, drastic diuretics, thiazides, inhibitors of vitamin K, direct oral anticoagulants, regular heparin and low molecular weight heparins, aspirin.
