The course aims to provide theoretical knowledge about the problems of functional assessment and rehabilitation planning of the patient amputee, bringing the student to think about the need to customize as much as possible both the choice of the prosthesis that the type of rehabilitation program to which the patient will undergo.
Orthoses most used by both orthopedic and neurological patients will also be described, for the upper limb, the lower limb and the column, so that the student understands the reasoning behind this aspect of patient care path.

• Types of prostheses for the lower and upper limb.
• Assessment and rehabilitation of amputee patients.
• The phantom limb.
• General information on Orthosis: rest and correction; static and dynamic functional.
• Employee of prostheses and orthoses in the tariff nomenclature; prescription, approval, delivery
