Learning outcomes

Provide the student with the basic elements to face the child in its complexity

Syllabus

General Principles of Pediatric Rehabilitation.
The development of the normal baby in the first six years of life.
Adolescence.
The baby preterms.
Viral infections.
Infectious inflammatory diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
Cerebral Palsy.
The development of neuromotor and orthopedic pathology, analysis of clinical frameworks through clinical reasoning inspired by ICF.
Applying the Clinical Reasoning Methodology by: gathering information, observing, evaluating and evaluating its tools, identifying problems, defining objectives, formulating the project and the therapeutic program, evaluating the results in relation to aims.
The use of RMN and EEG in the evaluation of cerebral maturation.
Epilepsy.

Assessment methods and criteria

Exam written with questions of general and detailed nature, in relation to the topics discussed in lesson.
