Overview

MASTER'S DEGREE IN HAND SURGERY The Master's Degree is aimed at Medicine and Surgery graduates who have a Specialized Degree in Orthopedics and Traumatology or Reconstructive Plastic Surgery or General Surgery and who have the training of level I Manager Doctor in Hand Surgery and Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery and Emergency Unit as their objective, operating in the network of Hand Surgery and Microsurgery, as proposed by the Guide Line on the System of Emergency Healthcare issed by the Ministry of Health (G.U. 7/12/2001). The Master's Degree in "Hand Surgery" aims at satisfying the training needs of highly qualified professionals in the telematic, multidisciplinary area of diagnosis of interesting pathologies of the Hand and the Upper Limb and their treatment with traditional and microsurgical techniques. At the end of this course or studies, characterised by a distinctly practical tendency, the health operator will have acquired a basic scientific background and theoretical-practical knowledge of Hand Surgery and Microsurgery and have developed the ability to manage the clinical conditions required of medical staff operating in Hand Surgery at the 1st level operation network of the System of Emergency Healthcare in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery.
