Overview

This Level I Master’s degree in “Managerial Techniques for the Coordination of Healthcare Professions” aims to facilitate the acquisition of managerial and organizational competencies intended for professional healthcare posts that involve personnel who perform or intend to take responsibility for coordinating various healthcare services. The objectives of the course are to develop specific competencies needed in the work of coordination, such as: • analysing the needs of patients, the problems related to services, applying organizational theory so as to interpret the functions and the complexities of the various dimensions of organizing healthcare services; • developing programming abilities, management and assessment of the performance of various professions with the scope of improving the quality of future interventions and satisfying the needs of patients; • managing a system for the development of human resources with the aim of appreciating individual aptitudes and competencies; • promoting a culture of interdisciplinary integration, of active engagement and a sense of responsibility towards results while at the same time favouring an environment of productive well-being; • promoting the professional development of personnel by determining continuing educational needs and organizing opportunities for training; • promoting the quality of interventions by guaranteeing operations in accordance with technical and scientific developments and in keeping with the expectations of the client’s level satisfaction; • making use of available scientific evidence with the organizational and professional aim of advancing good decision making practices and identifying ways to improve eventual courses of action; • promoting the personalization and humanization of assistance by guaranteeing information to the client and defending the rights of the person and the family; • activating organizational and professional integration in the operative unit or department and with external services as well; • managing financial, structural and technological resources in collaboration with the Head of the Organizational Unit in accordance with Company Directives and in relation to organizational and management objectives.
