Vascular medicine and angiology | The research is focused on clinical aspects of periphera artery disease with intermittent claudication and critical limb ischemia . Reaserch regards pro-trombotic and pro-aterogenic mechanisms , compensation mechanisms and the effects of therapy and physical exercise / trainig. A special focus is dedicated to microcirculation and rehacitvity of flow regulation during therapeutic interventions and exercise . Furthermore accelerated atherosclerosis conditions (diabetic, rehumatologic and nephropatic angiopaty) are studied under clinical and instrumental perspectives.
