Emilio Pedrotti: Ophthalmologist surgeon, specializing on 23-7-2001 with merit presenting a dissertation titled "Surgery of Strabismus in topical anesthesia", fellow at the Vitreo-Retinal Surgery Department and the Moorfield Eye Hospital Corneal Surgery Department London from 09-2000 to 06-2001. Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Verona from 01-01-2008 with over 30 articles on peer-reviewed international peer-review journals on outcome after bilateral multifocal IOL implantation,  Autologous Cultured Limbal Stem Cell Grafts, Transcutaneous periorbital electrical stimulation in the treatment of dry eye, changing trends for indications, patient demographics and surgical techniques from the Corneal Transplant Epidemiological Study, etc. Higher Specialization in "Corneal Pathology and Eye Surface". Faculty member in Optic phisiopatology and Strabismus at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Verona from the AA 2009/2010 at present and at Ophthalmology College from AU 2006/2007 to the present. With over 7,000 as first operator surgeon, in addition to routine cataract and glaucoma surgery, and harder corneal transplants and posterior segment surgery (episcleral surgery and vitrectomy), performs deep lamellar and endothelial keratoplasty surgery , limbic stem cell graft, 23G and 25G vitrectomy, and refractive, diffractive, accomodative and toric intraocular lens implantation, traditional strabismus surgery, enucleation with Hydroxyapatite Mobile Implant. It routinely performs laser therapy with different types of lasers (Argon, YAG, Diodes) for the treatment of retinal, glaucoma and secondary cataracts.
