Curriculum

Dr. Alessandro Marcon is involved in research in the fields of epidemiology and medical statistics since 2004. His main fields of interest are: 1) epidemiology of respiratory diseases in the general population (asthma, COPD); 2) evaluation of the effects of exposure to environmental (in particular industrial) pollution; 3) application of statistical-epidemiological methods in observational studies; 4) use of electronic health records and evaluation of health services. Since 2015 he is involved as a researcher in the European project "AGEING LUNGS IN EUROPEAN COHORTS (ALEC Study)" funded under Horizon 2020.
