Rosanna Cima is a researcher in general and social pedagogy at the Department of Human Sciences. Her main research interest is the elaboration of artisanal situated knowledge from experience in educational and care work with older people, adults and migrant families. The research approach is oriented by decolonial thinking, intersectionality, knowledge-making together with workers and beneficiaries of socio-educational and health services. How can the knowledge coming from the experience of the beneficiaries of the services interact with professional knowledge? What transformations of educational practices and devices can open up when such knowledge is placed in dialogue? How does situated knowledge interrogate pre-constituted knowledge and categories in the reading of educational relations?
Her research topics are: decolonial educational approaches, accompanying pedagogical devices for women and families; the spiritual and religious dimension in migration; formative processes in social, educational, health services; narration as self-care and professional contexts; the contribution of women in the construction of encounter practices.
