Learning outcomes

L’insegnamento si propone di far acquisire competenze di statistica descrittiva e inferenziale, riconoscere le caratteristiche dei disegni di studio più frequentemente utilizzati in epidemiologia e in clinica e di allenarsi nella costruzione dei questionari. MODULO METODOLOGIA DELLA RICERCA SOCIALE Obiettivi. formativi: Il corso si propone l’approfondimento dei metodi della ricerca sociale, in particolare dei questionari. L'obiettivo è di fornire allo studente le conoscenze teoriche e pratiche connesse con le scelte relative all'adozione, costruzione o gestione di un questionario in campo sanitario. MODULO STATISTICA MEDICA E EPIDEMIOLOGIA Obiettivi formativi: L'obiettivo è fornire agli studenti competenze di base nella statistica inferenziale applicata a variabili quantitative in ambito biomedico; prevede anche una revisione delle principali nozioni di statistica descrittiva. Al termine lo studente sarà in grado di calcolare e interpretare alcune statistiche descrittive ed inferenziali comunemente utilizzate nella letteratura scientifica. MODULO STATISTICA PER LA RICERCA SPERIMENTALE Obiettivi formativi: Si propone di rendere gli studenti in grado di: utilizzare ed interpretare le principali misure di frequenza e di associazione in campo epidemiologico; saper riconoscere e valutare criticamente i principali disegni dello studio.

Examination Methods

The final test consists of 3 exams, one for each unit. To pass the final test, the student must get a score of not less than 18/30 in each exam. The final mark (in thirtieths) is the weighted average over credits of the 3 scores.

The final test is a written exam with short answer questions and multiple choice questions. The aim of the test is to verify the knowledge of all the topics discussed. The final evaluation is expressed in thirtieths.
